This is the first year in many that I have not spent Mother's day with my mom, and I feel kinda guilty about it. I called my mom this morning to tell her that every day is mother's day and thank her sincerely for being an awesome mom. Next month I get to do another sentimental post about how I can thank my dad for fertilizing my mom's eggs, instilling the love and appreciation for all things rock and roll, and of course the ever so importance of having your own stubborn opinion.
