i used to be a superhero

I usually sing in the shower, especially if i know no one is home.  Tonight i don't know why I started singing Superhero by Ani DiFranco, I don't even listen to her music anymore & I can think of 50 better songs of hers to sing in the shower.  But yes, it came to me moments ago when I looked up the lyrics and then looked at the calender; oddly enough it has been precisely 2 weeks and 3 days & I miss my dear friend. I don't know why my jukebox brain didn't pick something a little less embarrassing like the Avett Brothers, Genesis, Queen, Sinead O'Connor or even Rhianna. I'm a little disappointed with my subconscious selection.
